The Radiation Baetis takes an accurate small mayfly nymph body and finishes it with a bright collar at the thorax. The body keeps the fly credible to a trout that inspects it; the collar gets the trout to come and inspect in the first place. On tailwaters that combination beats both a fully natural nymph and a fully bright attractor.
